I live at the intersection of being Gender fluid, Creative, Queer, with Disabilities and from humble migrant beginnings; Always feeling some concoction of ‘otherness’.
My existence is innately political. So i deeply value strong values, the individuals experience, decolonising minds and the gift of shared skills
I’m deeply grateful to offer valuable Relationship, kink and Intimacy coaching.
Bringing 20+ years of experiential kink, sex work and intimacy experience to support your growth and goals.
Qualified through studies in Psychology, Movement psychotherapy, Somatic movement and cathartic body work.
What we do
Intimacy and kink coaching is a consensual, educational, and client-led process that helps individuals understand, explore, and improve their intimate lives especially around desire, communication, power dynamics, and non-traditional sexuality. This is not therapy, not sex work, and not hands-on sexual activity. Instead, we define goals, use practical steps, troubleshoot the dynamic, and consider influencing aspects of life that can bring you to the very edge of your desires. Take the leap, and embody your truest self.
What an intimacy & kink coach actually does
Clarify goals and desires, assist you in recognising your boundaries, creating a pathway to achieve an embodied self awareness
Educate and Improve communication around sex, kink, intimacy and power
Assist in reducing shame and anxiety related to kink or sexuality exploration
Teaching consent, safe and SANE frameworks along with negotiation skills
Exploring identity expression (dominant, submissive, switch, kinky, curious, queerness etc.)
Building confidence, presence, and embodied awareness
How the coaching process works
1. Intake & intention-setting
Our first meet will be in an initial call of 10-15 minutes. In this time the goal is to broadly identify the goals and intentions of the client. Its likely that i will ask some questions such as:
What are you hoping to gain from these sessions? This relates to ideal outcomes, connection goals, kink education or seeking guidance with developing your sexual self.
Relationship status and dynamics can vary dramatically, what are you seeking from yours?
Experience level with kink or intimacy. This is simply to give me insight to where we will begin.
Emotional, physical, and psychological boundaries. We continue to practice trauma informed kink and intimacy, so knowing or discovering your needs, wants and limits are a very central part to this practice.
This phase establishes informed consent, confidentiality, and clear expectations.
2. Education & frameworks
Clients are taught tools such as:
Consent models (e.g., negotiation, safewords, aftercare)
Power exchange dynamics
Anatomy, arousal, and nervous system 101
Emotional safety and attachment awareness
Communication structures for difficult conversations
The goal is knowledge that empowers choice, not pushing any specific kink.
3. Guided self-exploration (non-sexual)
We may introduce:
Reflection exercises
Journaling prompts
Visualisation and embodiment practices
Role-play conversations as a beginning to kink dynamics (fully clothed, non-sexual)
Values and fantasy mapping
All activities remain non-explicit and non-physical
4. Integration into daily life. Applying practices in the real world:
Communication and identifying boundaries in their own relationships
Negotiating scenes with partners, including SAFE and SANE negotiation
Integration showing improved confidence and clarity with ones needs and desires
Together we identify needed adjustments, helping to process outcomes, emotions, without judgement.
What coaches do not do
In this delicate and vulnerable dynamic, there is no sexual contact with clients
No nudity or sex in therapeutic role play
No diagnosing or treating mental health conditions
No pressure to engage in kink or sexual behaviour in your own life
If trauma or mental health issues surface, you will be referred on to a licensed therapist for your safety.

Ethics
Ethics are the backbone of good intimacy and kink coaching. Reputable coaches don’t just rely on vibes or personal experience; they ground their work in clear, repeatable ethical frameworks that protect clients’ autonomy, safety, and dignity.
Here are the main ethical pillars and how they’re actually used within sessions:
1. Consent as an ongoing process
Consent isn’t a checkbox at intake – it’s continuous, revisable, and enthusiastic.
In practice this means:
Explicit consent before every exercise or topic – If its not a fuck yes, its a fuck no!
Clear permission to pause, modify, or stop at any time
Regular check-ins about comfort and capacity
Normalizing “no,” “not today,” and “I changed my mind”
Many coaches draw from kink-informed models like FRIES, RACK, or SSC, but adapt them to a coaching (non-sexual) context.
2. Power-awareness and anti-exploitation
Because intimacy and kink involve power, we treat power dynamics as something to be named, not denied.
Ethical safeguards include:
No eroticized authority or dominance over clients
No dual relationships (coach/partner/friend/mentor)
Clear boundaries around emotional dependency
Transparency about the coach’s role, scope, and limits
Even if a client is exploring dominance or submission dynamics, Mx Onyx never fully occupies the immersive role. Assuring that things like sub space and Dom drop are curiously discovered in the clients own experience and discussed in session.
3. Scope of practice & referrals
Ethical coaches know where their role ends.
We do not diagnose, treat trauma, or replace therapy
We DO screen for issues that may require licensed mental health care
IF found the client is referred out when PTSD, dissociation, abuse recovery, or a destabilising crisis emerges
Coaching sessions are a collaboration (with consent) with therapists or medical providers when appropriate
This protects both client and coach from harm or misrepresentation.
4. Trauma-aware, not trauma-extractive
Many clients carry sexual shame or past harm. Ethical frameworks emphasise choice and pacing, not catharsis.
Key principles:
No digging for trauma unless the client initiates
No pressure to “heal” through kink
No re-enactment of traumatic dynamics
Grounding techniques to maintain nervous system regulation
The mantra is: stability before intensity.
5. Non-pathologizing sexuality
Ethical coaching rejects the idea that kink, non-monogamy, or atypical desire is inherently unhealthy.
This means:
Embracing all connection with curiosity and respect
Respecting a client’s choice not to pursue kink
The client defines what “healthy” looks like for them.
Separating consensual desire from harm
Challenging shame without pushing exploration
Supporting identity exploration without labels being forced
6. Confidentiality & discretion
Because of stigma and real-world risk, confidentiality is treated with exceptional care.
Ethical practices include:
Clear privacy policies
Secure record-keeping
No sharing stories without explicit permission
Extra caution with public visibility, referrals, or testimonials
7. Cultural humility & intersectional ethics
Ethical frameworks account for how power shows up differently across identity.
This includes awareness of:
Gender, race, disability, and neurodivergence
Religious or cultural sexual norms
Immigration or employment risk related to disclosure
Asexuality, queerness, and gender diversity
We avoid assuming a single “liberated” sexual ideal.
8. Transparency, informed choice, and accountability
Clients deserve to know exactly what they’re agreeing to
Written agreements and clear pricing
Plain-language descriptions of methods
Disclosure of training and limitations
Feedback channels and grievance options
We align with professional codes (e.g., coaching associations, consent-based education groups), even if the field itself isn’t regulated.
9. Self-regulation & supervision
Behind the scenes of an ethical coach:
Seek peer consultation or supervision
Continued education in consent, Kink and Somatics
Examine their own biases, desires, and blind spots
Step back when attraction or countertransference appears
This is how harm is prevented before it reaches the client.
The bottom line
Ethical intimacy and kink coaching is about empowerment without coercion, exploration without pressure, and support without dependency.
